Workshop Info

The headquarters of the workshop will be the Information Technology Building (ITB) that houses Department of Computing and Software. Depending on numbers, 2--4 rooms in ITB will be made available for morning and afternoon meetings throughout the week.

There will be no presentations --- except perhaps ad hoc
problem-related ones ---, just working sessions interspersed with generous recesses for coffee and meals. The mood is relaxed, but still the intent is serious: to spend time among colleagues and friends exploring fundamental problems of our research discipline.

As with past StringMasters, we expect that many papers will result from the deliberations of the Masters & Mistresses of stringology who attend.

None, but please contact either Bill Smyth or Franya Franek to let us know if you wish to attend (just go to the workshop's home page and click on either picture of the organizers).

Eating & Drinking
There are numerous restaurants, widely differing in menu, atmosphere and price within a few minutes' walk of our headquarters --- all provide adequate fuel for research progress.

Getting Here
You can fly to Toronto (Pearson International) airport from anywhere in the world --- McMaster is about an hour and a CDN$100 taxi ride away.

Please pass this announcement on to anyone you think may be interested.
